On the way to his job, a man got wet from an unfixed water pipe so he put a vase with dried plant to contain the water. Then he saw a vendor who’s having a hard time lifting her cart so he went straight to her and helped the vendor. While eating, a street dog approached him so he gave it half of his food. He saw less fortunate while walking, a mother together with her daughter, and there’s a signage “For Education” beside them and without hesitation, he got his wallet out and gave money to the daughter. He hanged a bunch of banana to an old woman’s doorknob so when the old woman opened the door she’s wondering who has been doing that. It becomes his daily routine- observe the dried plant; help the vendor; give food to street dog; help the less fortunate; and hangs banana to an old woman’s doorknob. Until one day, he went to the less fortunate to give money but the daughter was not there so he wondered. Until the voice from somewhere else says “Ma”. Only to find out that it was the beggar’s daughter, not wearing ragged clothes anymore, but a complete school uniform. The girl was just smiling to the man while the man stared with teary eyes, and smiled back. He gets nothing for doing these good deeds. He won’t be famous for these helpful acts but what he does receive are emotions. He witnesses happiness and feels love- things that money can’t buy. He realized that true happiness comes from making other people happy.
